Portfolio Manager
The ideal candidate will have a CFA and/or other equivalent credentials, and 10+ years of investment management experience. In this model, the PM a) manages individual client relationships, including all the client interaction and the construction and management of the individual client investment portfolios, and b) the PM will be a member of the bank's Investment Policy Committee, and as such will be assigned specific research responsibilities and will be expected to come to committee with ideas for their equity focus list (both additions to and deletions from). This is an SVP level position; relocation may or may not be necessary.
Business Development Officer
This is a VP level sales person who will develop investment management business. The ideal candidate will have outstanding interpersonal skills and will have a strong following in the community (Bellevue, WA). This person needs to open doors with referral sources (CPAs, Attorneys, etc.), high net worth individuals, business owners, and other sources of potential clients. It would be desirable if the person has background in investment management, but not necessary. Relocation may or may not be necessary.
Special Assets
Responsibilities include the direct handling of liquidations, troubled debt restructurings and workouts as well as providing coaching and guidance for lenders throughout the bank with their criticized loans. This position requires significant experience, including turnaround consulting, commercial workout experience or complex commercial lending experience. Extensive working knowledge of commercial credit and underwriting. Thorough knowledge of bankruptcies, lending practices, documentation, legal and regulatory requirements. Previous special assets experience is required. Strong accounting financial and spreadsheets skills needed. Relocation may or may not be necessary.
Senior Relationship Manager
Handles the largest and most complex loans. Develops and maintains account relationships, both credit and non-credit. Develops primary customer and prospect lists within assigned territory for the purpose of marketing a broad range of bank services. Prepares and presents for approval credit analysis on all borrowing requests. Negotiates terms and conditions within assigned parameters. Ensures timely and thorough monitoring of all credits through periodic reviews, continual analysis, and proper documentation. Possesses the ability to remedy deficiencies when appropriate. Minimum 10 years of lending/relationship management experience; commercial lending experience preferred. BA degree in Finance or related field; MBA preferred. Excellent business development and client cultivation skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills; Relocation may or may not be necessary.

Ten years experience with current market knowledge of the Salem and Portland, OR areas.
