Commercial Lender: Multiple locations

Commercial Lending Officers are responsible for soliciting, negotiation, underwriting and coordinating the closing of all types of loans, including: C&I, CRE, and business loans, in compliance with the Bank’s lending policies and procedures. Also, develops relationship banking services for customers. The position promotes business for the Bank by maintaining excellent customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services. The position assists in attaining established Bank goals through active participation in sales management and officer call programs and is expected to provide assistance and support to less experienced loan officers and other staff members. This position handles a portfolio of moderate to complex level of commercial loans.

Typically, this position requires a minimum of 5 years commercial lending experience, strong credit and analytical skills, and knowledge of all bank services.

 Major Functions Include:

1. Establish and maintain high quality customer relationships

2. Analyzes applicant financial status and credit to determine or recommended credit decision   3. Be part of a collaborative team with various business services partners to support the full client relationship.

4. Participation in community activities and events

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Finance or Business and/or 5 years experience in related field.

Additional Requirements:

Business development experience

Commercial Team Leader

This person will lead the commercial team to ensure the achievement of the bank’s financial objectives while also managing credit risk.

Essential responsibilities:

  •  Manage the loan production with the goal of expanding market share
  • Participate in the structure and underwriting of complex credits within the team
  • Drive a positive sales culture
  • Develop and implement departmental operating policies
  • Oversee the management of renewals and  extensions
  • Credit risk management, including risk ratings and actions plans to resolve problem loans.
